Blind-Man's Buff, a 19th-century print based on an original work by Sir David Wilkie

The work depicts a lively game in a modest tavern or dining room, with people of various ages participating in the chaos

The original painting was commissioned in 1812 by George, Prince of Wales, who at the time was serving as Prince Regent due to the illness of his father, King George III. The print, engraved by Abraham Raimbach, was published about ten years later, around 1822. Meanwhile, in 1820, the Prince Regent had ascended the throne as King George IV

The print and walnut frame are in excellent condition considering their age, with minor signs of aging
