Both the panels and cushions are upholstered in smooth burgundy/aubergine velvet with camel/gold trim. The panels are held together with zippers, a characteristic of the entire Duc line. The padded cushion covers are removable

One leg features the Cassina Meda adhesive label

The sofa is solid and stable, still relevant today, and comes in a very rare and elegant color. Signs of aging are more evident along the legs, and there are some losses in the fabric (see photo). Otherwise, the condition is excellent, with signs consistent with normal use

Note: Mario Bellini (Milan, 1935) is one of the most important Italian designers and architects, winner of eight Compasso d'Oro awards. His works are permanently exhibited at the MoMA in New York
